Captain Ron Gibbs. Captain Ron Gibbs holds a masters license with the U. S. Coast Guard for 200ton domestic and 500ton international vessels. His maritime career began in 1969 when he joined the Merchant Marines and volunteered for duty on a ship carrying supplies into Vietnam.
CR Gibbs is the authorcoauthor of six books and a frequent national and international lecturer on an array of historical topics. He has appeared several times on the History Channel and French and Belgian television. He wrote, researched, and narrated Sketches in Color, for WHUTTV, the Howard University television station.
